Hal
tested and obtained his Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC),
Certified Door Consultant (CDC),
and Construction Document Technologist (CDT)
credentials. He has been successfully representing worldwide manufacturers
and providing technical services to architects for more than 12 years. More
than 20 years ago, Hal obtained his Specialty and General B State of
California Contractor's License while working as a finish carpenter who
specialized in doors, frames, and hardware installation. He also has seven
years of experience in contract distribution of doors, frames, and hardware.
Hal has been a National Instructor for the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI)
since 1999. His classes cover the
CDC
& FDAI credentialing programs, as well as Sales and Effective Management
of Employees. He also has been a guest lecturer for DHI’s
national convention.

Charlie
combined his degree in Architecture with his national industry sales
experience and founded Sierra Pacific Sales in 1989. He evaluates job-site
project plans, troubleshoots to resolve conflicts with hardware
applications, and provides technical services related to warranty and
product issues. Charlie also regularly trains distributors and end-users to
help them safely and efficiently implement access-control, automated
entrances, and life-safety products. He is a seasoned lecturer on
access-control systems and automatic entrances for architects, end-users,
and distributors. Charlie is an active member in the DHI and CSI
associations.
